Irrigation New Zealand

After the success of 2016, once again IrrigationNZ is excited to call for abstracts.  Reflecting our 2018 conference theme unlocking a golden future we seek new, innovative and exciting technology and/or good management practice to benefit irrigators and industry.

IrrigationNZ is now calling for abstracts in the following categories;

  • Technologies and their application
  • Decision support tools and practices
  • Water management initiatives

All will embody Irrigation New Zealand’s SMART Irrigation Programme. In essence, thinking and delivery on irrigation that enables irrigators to be SMART:  Sustainably Managed, Accountable, Responsible and Trusted irrigation.  Successful applicants will have 15minutes within the conference programme to present.

Key dates:

Abstract submissions open:         Tuesday 12 September

Abstract submissions close:         Wednesday 18 October

Authors notified:                              Thursday 26 October

PowerPoint presentations due: March 2018 (date tba)

Paper details:

Maximum of 500 words excluding title and authors

Font should be Arial or Times Roman size 11
