New Zealand Certificate in Irrigation System Performance Assessment

Gain the skills and knowledge to carry out assessments of irrigation systems in order to determine how efficiently they are operating. This Level 4 NZQA certificate runs for 7 months and requires some previous knowledge and experience in irrigation. You will need to be able to access at least two different irrigation systems to carry out assessments and report on your findings.

At the end of this programme, you’ll be able to:

  • Carry out an irrigation system performance assessment
  • Analyse and report the outcomes of performance assessment
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to efficiency

Assessment requirements:

  • 2 completed performance assessment reports on two different systems

Course Materials:

  • Evidence portfolio outlining all the assessment requirements.
  • Learning materials including case studies with example reports. The New Zealand Performance Assessment Code of Practice.

Class training dates: 18th, 19th 20th September 2017

Time: 8.30-5.30pm daily

Venue: Lincoln

Time to complete: 7 months
