Good Management Practice

What do we actually mean when we talk about good management practice (GMP)? INZ will take you through the concepts of SMART irrigation- Sustainably Managed, Accountable, Reliable, Trusted Irrigation and why it matters not just at regulatory level but for farm profitability.

Irrigator Performance Assessment

Knowing how well your irrigator is performing is a key element to ensuring high productivity, efficiency and catching small maintenance issues before they become big issues. Data collected during the ‘irrigator walk’ is analysed using the free app Check It-Bucket Test, developed for farmers to check the performance of irrigators. This is a practical application that you can directly use on your farm.
